“Against the backdrop of the davastating events in Ukraine and resulting refugee crisis, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic, occupational therapists in Europe continue to face crisis situations personally and professionally. Crisis situations which emerge from unsustainable occupational patterns and social injustices may result in prolonged occupational disruptions and occupational deprivation.
How can a sustainability perspective support occupational therapists in crisis preparedness, early response, mitigation of serious consequences? And at the same time focus on protection and sustainable use of natural resources, social equity, and economic development?
As an OT-Europe webinar, the target audience will be occupational therapists, working in education, research and practice in clinical, and/or community settings, as well as occupational therapy students.”
